Open, validate, dedup, split horizontally and vertically, join, remove columns, reformat, check individual fields, update field values (manually or automatically) of any text file (fixed or delimited). Modify all your marketing, data, mailing, customer or voters lists. Check firewall, web, telecom exchange logs, or any other text file up to 300 GB or 30 million records. TextMaster is powered by TMQL, SQL like query language which combines the simplicity and power of SQL with the unique characteristics of a text file and flexibility of regular expressions into one powerful language designed to manipulate fixed or delimited files.

Version 2.1.2971 adds TMDeDup (removes duplicated lines from the file using one or more fields and /or parts of the fields as criteria); TMHSplit (splits file horizontally into several files using one or more fields as criteria); TMKeep (removes columns by specifying individual field(s) and / or segments of the field(s) to remain in the file).

Crowning glory

We busted our butt all summer and fall. We've been through adversity. We've been through ups and downs. This is the outcome. We're thankful."

Both teams entered with 7-0 WAC records, but it was the Broncos who stepped onto the FieldTurf wearing the crown.

The Broncos' showcase displays the past five WAC trophies. They had won 46 of 47 WAC games during that span, and six in a row against the Warriors.

"We believed," UH quarterback Colt Brennan insisted. "That was our motto."

It was strengthened during a chapel service yesterday morning when the pastor gave a sermon on David and Goliath.

"All of the armies were scared of Goliath," UH defensive tackle Michael Lafaele said. "This young boy came out and called him out in the name of God.

The Edwards Campaign: What Went Wrong?

No campaign ever fails for just one reason. Some say the frightened corporate media torpedoed Edwards. Some say Edwards, a sleek rich cat himself, was the wrong messenger. He just wasn't believable. His populist message seemed invented out of thin air to save a failing election bid. All true — but perhaps not crucial. In the past, wealthy politicians have invented populist messages and done quite well, despite media opposition.

I suspect the critical failing in the Edwards campaign was the way they framed their message. In their frame, America was divided into a small elite of winners and a vast populace of losers. Now it was time for the losers to fight back and even the score.

That frame was a huge gamble. It depended on voters seeing themselves not just as ordinary little guys but as losers: insignificant forgotten people, pushed to the margins of society, neglected by the people who really matter.

ExpressJet, which flies to nine cities, filled exactly half of all of its available seats in both directions. .

County renews airport consultant agreement; inks lease with PBCC

County commissioners have exercised the second one-year renewal option with CH2M Hill, Inc. for the continued performance of professional planning and design services related to the Palm Beach the improvement program at Palm Beach County Airports.

The original $2.5 million contract was approved in 2005, and six subsequent amendments increased it by $9 million. The renewal option has no financial impact, commissioners said.

PBCC Lease

In other airport news, commissioners have approved a short-term lease of property at Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA) to Palm Beach Community College (PBCC)

PBCC has actually used the property since 2001 for its Fire/EMS Training Program, but is in the process of finding a new location, creating the need for a new short-term lease, commissioners said.
